When trying to compute a console application on Eu v4.2.0 rev 22b5124 using get_key() from std/console.e, I get the following error: 

error: implicit declaration of function 'get_key' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration] 
Couldn't compile file 'entry.c' 
Status: 1 Command: gcc  -fomit-frame-pointer -c -w -fsigned-char -O2 -m64 -I/usr/local/euphoria-4.2.0-Linux-x64 -ffast-math entry.c

Hallo

I had similar problems with a new GCC on Windows.

You could test this here (in your eu.cfg) 

[translate] 
-extra-cflags -std=gnu89
or more explicitly

Here 

[translate] 
-extra-cflags -std=gnu89 -Wno-error=implicit-function-declaration
