Nothing would please me more than to have improved parsing performance in the
next release, even if it's by a small margin.
Although it's impossible for the new parsing method to ever perform like the
older one, even a small improvement would signify genuine effort put forth to
make the system as fast and efficent as possible. So for that I cannot complain.
BTW, have you decided on whether the next release will be version 2.6 or 3.0?
Based on release history, you've jumped from version 1.5 to 2.0; shouldn't you
continue that trend?
