Hi
Me too. I love playing with new offerings, but always come back to eu for that quick and dirty proggy to do stuff that no one else does quite as well. (Although I am putting some effort into micropythom at the moment).
Just as a discussion point what new would you migrate too. Just to kick it off I'm liking the looks of python more and more (though indents with no end - euch!) and thinbasic looks interesting.
Cheers
Chris
what i write here is my personal opinion, nothing more and nothing less. i think most people here in the forum have the same or similar thoughts about the future of openeuphoria. and everyone is looking for a programming language for the time after euphoria.
Of course, my search always leads me back to python. But I haven't really warmed up to it yet. (I miss my end )
at the moment i use this python ide: https://thonny.org/ in simple mode and get the examples from here https://www.programiz.com/python-programming#guide
However, phix is currently the direct solution for me . and there is still enough for me to learn. If you take a closer look, phix offers a lot more than OE.(I really started reading the documentation ) At least I don't have to endure a pitying grin anymore when I refer someone to the website (especially the online documentation) of my favorite programming language. (not that it really bothers me, the result counts).
I hope nobody feels offended now
Andreas
