Looking for Portuguese/English word list
Hello there,
Im looking for a Portuguese to English / English to Portuguese
dictionary file that could be used in a Euphoria word look-up
program.
The file should be in text form or some other form that would
allow reading into my Eu .exw program to allow users to look up
words both in English to Portuguese and for Portuguese to English.
The preferred dialect is 'neutral' Brazilian but i'll consider any.
I already have English word lookup and
English to Spanish / Spanish to English lookup programs all made
using Euphoria and WinAPI (i'll post if anyone is interested).
I was able to make the English/Spanish version because of the
'Dictionario' program present in the archives which was nice,
and something like this but in Brazilian Portuguese would be just
right :) Dictionario required a little processing to get the
text into the proper form, but hey, it worked without too much trouble.
(Many thanks to the maker of that word list and program.)
It pretty much has to be in text form because the program has to be
able to read in all the words and make a table, but if it happens to
be in another form that can be converted to text through a little
compile program that's fine too -- as long as i can get the info
to describe the file format.
