This proposal list is just *my* pick; it doesn't (yet? :p) reflect the
collective reflexion of the ESL group, and will need amendments in this
respect.
It obviously reflects my own knowledge and frequency of use for some
libraries. I must have overlooked some great stuff. I'm used to Diamond, and
I heard that ME was a lighter version of Diamond, so I preferred the former.
And what to do when several alternatives are available? Specifically, I
never used SOOP by M. Steele. It may be awesome. But suggesting more than
one library for the same range of tasks could prove confusing. Well, that
is, unless D. Newhall, who coordinates the project, states something else.

Feel free to add your opinions about this, or, even better, to join the
project....

CChris
