Without the added line, I get:

pi@raspberrypi: $ eui demos/test0
/home/pi/demos/GtkEnums.e:8 <0052>:: can't find 'std/io.e' in any of ...
/home/pi/demos
/home/pi/demos/test0.ex

public include std/io.e

Very strange.

EDIT: or maybe not. I'm using Raspian today, instead of Ubuntu, as a test. Forgot that, maybe debian works differently.
