G'day all Ray, it's mainly a lack of time that stops me getting into a particular language. With four kids, dogs, racing car, etc, there's just too many other things to do! Also, I've spent the last <mumble umph> years coding in COBOL, and not enough time looking at the "latest and greatest" out there. Getting my tired old brain around Euphoria is proving enough of a challenge, let alone languages where "pointer to a pointer to a memory address" and "objects" and "classes" and suchlike are valid constructs. Having seen bits 'n' pieces of Delphi, VB, C, Pascal, etc, I agree that a language needs a development environment (preferably for a complete application - data file / database schema, screen designer, report writer, menu system, security things, etc) and Delphi certainly has as good an "environment" as anything else out there. Regards Tony
