The "createProcessHi" message is from IDE. It is only issued when you run your solution from within the IDE environment and Euphoria (looks like it is looking for eui.exe) is either not there at all or is not where the program expects it to be. I would need to know what version of the IDE you are using and whether in "exw" or "exe" form before I could advise further.

PS. Does the Win8 64-bit version get installed somewhere other than "c:\euphoria"?
