Judith,

the problem does not occur in your IDE because you draw the controls with
your own routines.

As you said, it is a problem of Win32lib.

Regarding the tab items, i ALWAYS have the transparancy problem.

Static text within groups usually works..as long as i do not put a group in
a group....

is anybody working on this problem? I think Tony needs to wait until someone
fixes win32lib.

I sure would like to help, but i still haven´t understood the structure of
win32lib (although i have learned a lot by running win32lib programs with
the trace command turned on...)

P.S.: Are you going to release a new version of the IDE with the fixed
