What is the "free" licensing for this? I did not see any licensing info on the site.

No license, no terms of use, no privacy policy on how they use the information they collect from you to download, and no documentation showing any actual donation other than some photos hotlinked off a random charity's website.

Yeah, this seems very legit.

Hallo

The Company that offers the download is located in Germany there Hompage is here, http://www.softmaker.de/

As it is a German program, German law applies.
In the case of a Computerprogram it's the 'Urheberrechtsgesetz' (http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/englisch_urhg/)
(particular Part1 Section VIII)

So no separate Licens or EULA is needed. You can have an additional License but you don't have to.

On the other hand not every License or EULA is legal in Germany (mostly Microsoft EULA's have too much restrictions)

At least on the German Page it is written that they will send you advertiments and your Key for the program to your Email Adress.
(if you don't like this, you can still use 'Tor' and 10minutemail.com ;)

I think this is enough OT now :) (i just wanted to send a link, not start an OT discussusion

Andreas
