I've given you the same access to add post new news. The other changes you describe require code changes to the forum software. (As a side note, technically you do actually already have developer access to the repo for that.)

I have created a news item for EuGTK.

As for editing the forum software itself, I don't think I have the talent for that.

Now that I think of it, we probably only need one other news item, or two if the item from August is not recent enough.

Maybe we can do a short news release about the new, ryanj suggested community summary system as well....
