yeah although i've been on 3.6 & 3.7 kernel for yonks via rpi-update. i was actually going to downgrade back to a older sd card image with 3.2 kernel & older gcc to see if that made a difference

Tthere is also a Fedora 18 version which was released yesterday and a Bodhi version released a few days ago. Both these specifically address the ARM processor.
