I replied to jim's post about me, and my post was deleted. I made no false statements, used no foul language. Why was it deleted with no explaination?

It contained a repeat of the untrue statements in an earlier post (which I let past and replied to), and did not add anything new.

More to the point, it appeared to be a repeat of http://openeuphoria.org/forum/m/119114.wc

I sent Derek a copy of strtok.e, and gave him permission to do with as he saw fit. Because OpenEuphoria v4 was rewritten from RDS's v3.x, strtok didn't run on v4. So of course he had to re-write some of it. Some of it didn't need to be transcribed into v4. And i didn't care that he re-wrote it.

Now some functionality that is common with your library has been included in Euphoria. These were not lifted from your code and were added because they are common to most language's standard library.

Maybe he had a copy of strtok, but he doesn't appear to have added anything from it or derived from it to Euphoria.

But i fought for the inclusion of some things, and i am still fighting right this second as i write this.

Strange .. I'm on the dev list and I watch the tickets closely .. but I haven't seen any strtok-related activity on either.

I'm not saying that I'm against adding your strtok library to Euphoria, just that I haven't seen much of any activity ever from anyone trying to get anything from your strtok library into Euphoria.
