Some people will complain that Rob should instead be working on Euphoria. 2. Rob will probably either: Say he is too busy Say there are already editors available Say he's too lazy ;) (No offense, Rob) If you've been here a while or read the Archives you might also have noticed that Rob is rather slow to do anything that might make more sales of Euphoria... > > Then there's the crossplatform issue... > > Yes, but there are two very different distributions for both linux and > windows. > > > Why not have a Win32 Editor and a Linux Editor come with Euphoria? > > Yep! > > Even though I've looked at 'Ubunto' and 'SimplyMEPIS' I have'nt tried out > Euphoria on them so I am unable to comment on the linux side of things. > > > > > Jeremy > > Hayden McKay... If it was coded in Euphoria using an xplat library like WXEU or WMOTOR, that would take care of any cross-platform issues. IMO tho' this is all a waste of time. 99.9999999999999999% of ideas-proposals-suggestions by this community are either ignored by Rob or given good-bad reasons why he won't do it. Or 2 years later they are implemented. I'm not complaining; I think Euphoria is ok, what I can't imagine is how Rob puts food on the table selling Euphoria? Jeremy
