Using DIR () with hidden folders in WIN SEVEN?

Greetings to all
I am using Win Seven and Eu311.
The result is dd=-1 when used in:
dd = dir ("c:\\AnyHiddenFolder")
The folder exists, but is a hidden or system folder and the DIR command does not work
I wonder how to list a directory with these types of files and folders. How i do it ?
