this post follows the first free seems not work.
I've run the code below to do 4 tests, with Eu40 on Vista.
For comparison, I changed the program to use the normal euphoria allocate and free, and ran it on Linux with massif, a heap profiler. Here's the graph I got (I changed it to just run for 10 cycles):
