I was going to work on that tonight, but if you have ideas, I have other areas I could work on.

I'll continue working on this, but only as far as fixing bugs. The grouping idea is a good one but it should wait for v4.1. And for the same reasons, the idea of having alternative ways of indicating optional parameters should wait too.
