Hello All,
I just upload to the archives the latest version of my DeluxeSlideShow. I add automatically adjusting
the aspect ratio depend on your screen.
Up until the late 1990's the normal aspect ration was 4:3
That is, if a TV was 4 feet across then it had to be 3 feet high.
So when people speak of a 20 inch TV they are talking diagonally from top left to bottom right.
No matter how many inches the TV is (in our case 20) the aspect ratio remains the same.
It has to be, so all Broadcasters and all TV Manufactures are on the same page.
The FCC sees to this. The FCC will agree to anything as long as the Broadcasters and
Manufactures agree. Now comes the advent of HDtv that uses 16:9 aspect ratio.
Modern computers have both but they are probably not making 4:3 any more. Being behind the times
I'm probably the last person to have one (4:3). Because of this my DeluxeSlideShow self
adjusts depending on your computer screen. It has been tested on a Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows XP and Window 7. And probably works on all the ones in between like 2000 and Vista.
It is all written in Euphoria and includes the bound and source.
I would like people to test it to see if works on there system. If not let me know.
