I downloaded linuxmint-9-gnome-cd-i386.iso

This version will load as a live cd.

I also got a fresh copy of euphoria_4.0_1ubuntu1_i386.deb (get it from Sourceforge).

Euphoria installs and runs from the Mint live cd; just click on the .deb file.
