You know, you people really don't get it. When was the last time you saw any contributions from me? Long time ago. Possibly before Guillermo joined. I have been and still am quite useful. There are many on this list that know so without ever seeing another contribution from me. (And I firmly request that those do NOT speak up in support of me.) I have not fear of what the Euphoria group chooses to believe of me or even if the few in charge choose to ban me. I do care that others not follow myself and be harmed in doing so. I have opinions and they aren't pointless. I don't and won't know creole. Waste of my time to learn it for THIS forum. I know PHP and don't understand the mentality of some people that all things must be written in or use Euphoria to be worthy. And those very people continue to work on and rebuild Euphoria using C. A hammer is a great tool for hitting nails, But not all problems are nails to be hammered.
Other wikis exist. Lets build our on from scratch using Euphoria.
go ahead, keep your heads in the sand. There are select few that are pulling the strings and they appear to still be puppeted by Rob. OpenEuphoria my be Open to see and modify for personal use. but it ain't free. It is still very much shackled. Oh, and I am certain this post will likely be removed within an hour after it is posted. So if you want to keep any shred of evidience or reminder of its existance. Save the page to your hard drive. For that matter. Blog about it, Slashdot it. Repost it on your own websites. I'm sure many of you don't believe me. That's fine. Keep you heads in the sand. And I hope euphoria as it is and as it becomes is all you ever need of it. It was great for me for a time. It has been dead to me for a while now.
Euphoria is still one of the fastest, simpliest, prototyping, scripting, programming languages I have ever encountered for many uses. I will remember my past with it fondly.
Um, why would your post be removed? I think you are misunderstanding why a few previous posts were removed. Your post has nothing in common with the others removed.
Now, I do want to address a few of your questions... Sure, other systems exist but why not have one in Euphoria? Has it not been a good example of what can be done in Euphoria? Has it not been a good test bed for Euphoria 4.0? They have caught many bugs. Are they good examples for others writing web applications? Absolutely! What is wrong with writing a wiki, a forum or a ticket system in Euphoria?
Now, a puppet of Rob... I think one of the main problems thus far is we rarely hear from Rob. How can anyone be a puppet of Rob if no one ever hears from him? I'd like to know (you can say in private if you wish) who is the puppet and what they are doing to harm Euphoria.
Now, Euphoria being shackled. How so?
