No, I did not have any problems with syntax/keyword changes/additions, the changes were relatively minor. The finished programs ended with machine exceptions and screens of mumbo-jumbo I could not decipher. And I tried both Borland C 5.5 and Watcom. The interpreter had similar difficulties, so after strugling with the thing for a day or two I chucked it and went back to 3.1.1. No more problems!
OK. I'll run a few samples and see if we can figure out the problems. As for Borland, 4.0 no longer supports it as Borland no longer supports it, the last release was in 2000 and it was causing maintenance problems. Watcom is the preferred compiler for 4.0 on Windows, and of course gcc else where. MinGW is working on 4.0 Windows, but there are some minor issues with it still to be worked out.
