Hello again, and thanks for being so amusing. I'm starting to enjoy this game you are playing.
And "critic" can not run benchmarks himself because he fears that they will prove him wrong. It is much easier to argue from "theory" than practice.
Yeah, I know you have no idea about computing theory. You don't even know what a cycle is.
By what mechanism have you determined that I "have no idea about computing theory"? Was it the tea-leaves or the goat entrails this time?
And as for "cycle", of course I know what that is. I ride one myself, though in this country we call it a bicycle because it has 2 (two) wheels.
We believe that Euphoria is one of the fastest interpreted languages going round ...
Yeah, because EU is a religion for you.
I reject that assertion with the utmost vigor! The European Union is not my religion at all. You have definitely got that one wrong.
Unfortunately speed is objective and measurable.
Really??? Are you sure??? Isn't speed relative to the observer?
But if you are correct, then why don't you measure Euphoria's speed yourself? (Sorry, that wasn't fair - a rhetorical question). You, personally, can't measure it can you? You are of course, totally incapable of performing that sort of task; one that might challenge your prejudices. I understand, little one, but don't be so glum; when you grow up and begin to face real challenges in your life, I'm sure that these type of discussions you have had here and in the other forums, will help you to realize what is acceptable in adult company.
