Derek,

I downloaded your version 50 and we still have a problem. I have this error: 

C:\euphoria\win32lib\include\Win32Lib.ew:7404 in procedure setBackground() 
variable lNewBrush has not been assigned a value 
 
... called from Win32Lib.ew:13509 in function createEx() 
...
