"By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the services and may be revoked for certain services as defined in the additional terms of those services."
Typical google. They are a good tool but they are getting too big and gaining to much power, IMHO, and Chrome is just another means to accomplish it 
Here's one users comment on the above page:
"I'm in love with the sudden degree of suspicion people are starting to take with Google. It's not without reason since everything they do is in the interest in harvesting data but at one time people were ready to declare Google the second coming, all things to all markets and now they're becoming that shadowy organization with the same vibe that Microsoft had in the late 90's."
