edit text limit

Is there a limit on the number of editText fields on a screen? I have a program that loops through a table trying to create 100+ fields and only about 69 are displayed. I get no errors, only the remaining fields do not appear on the screen. In fact the last one showing is the wrong length, like something croaked.... george
