The -D command line argument has been (IMHO) the #1 best addition to Euphoria, because of the time and trouble it saves when debugging code. No 'end user' is going to use it, unless I tell 'em to try, in which case they might be able to send me information which would be more helpful than "your program broke" :)

It's much ado about nothing. How long do you think it takes a program to parse say, Judith's IDE? Some fraction of a second that only happens once when you start it up. If the amount of time bothers you you can always press the turbo button.
