1. Band of graphics at top of screen

My Euphoria setup used to work fine, but now graphics which are in mode(259)
appear as a band across the top of the screen.
I read on this forum something about monitors which aren't able to handle these
graphics modes. I have a Sony G420, it can deal with alot higher resolution than
mode 259.
I haven't done any Euphoria for months now and I miss it badly!!
I have recently moved to WinXP. Could this cause a problem?

With DOS Euphoria, try "use_vesa(1)" or "machine_proc(36, 1)".
If you are using DOS in exclusive mode (Windows ME or older),
be sure to restore the original video mode before exiting the
program.

3. Re: Band of graphics at top of screen

Thanks heaps Vincent,
I've only tried the use_vesa(1) so far but it looks like that has done the
trick.
Very much appreciated.
