Juergen: You'll probably snap at me for posting an offtopic message, but if you do I'll list any that you have posted. Irv: Do you still use Qu? I tried to install it on my system but the autoconfig program didn't work. Regards, CraigG Answer: one. Question: How many psychics does it take to change a light bulb.

Based on their benchmarks, their JIT option barely beats interpreted Euphoria v?.?, however the Eu2C translator would blow the socks off that any time. I hope you decide to someday return back to Euphoria land. Cheers, Vincent

Sorry, I think you're wrong on both counts, but this is Rob's forum, so I won't use it to promote competing languages. I will say this: using languages which have almost all of the features people have discussed here ad nauseum has proven to me that those requests were quite reasonable and well-founded. Some of those features can be surprisingly useful, and obviously they need not result in the dreaded 'slower execution' which has so often been used as a reason for keeping such features out of Euphoria. Regards, Irv
