Path without 'set' might generate an error which you wont see during bootup. After rebooting, check the settings by typing into a dos window at the dos prompt: SET without any parameters, then press enter. Copy whatever comes up on the dos screen, and if you still have problems paste all that info into your next posting on here. Hope it helps. --Al
