How can I use an xpm image as an icon? I know I can use it as a bitmap:

bitmap = createDIB( xpmToEuBmp( xpm_name ) )
but can this be done for an icon also?

I am wondering if there is a XPM editor that woud generate your graphics =
in to XPM code? Becouse the "old fashion " way is weary hard if yo are =
not an artist.

You can make xpm files with the Gimp. However,if you are not an artist,
generating nice graphics is very hard, no matter what software you use.

You might look at xnview, a free graphics viewer and converter. You can
convert bitmaps to XPMs, icons - just about any format you can imagine.

Although as Tone pointed out, the functions createXpm and
createXpmFromBmpFile should do what you want. I should have remembered
that... after all, I *did* write them.
