I am translating a mail that I got via email:
New virus W32/Magistr is a new virus that is spreding via email. Thi =
virus is the moust perfect virus that was ever writen.No matter what =
programm for mail you are using it will infect you.It will spread on =
every email address dath you have in address book. It has attached one =
of this windows sistem files : CMDL32.exe, SUCATREG.EXE,...
The virus delet all of your hard drive in amonth iven BIOS and CMOS. =
There is nou anti virus for this virus yet. Bee ware.Doun't open any =

This viruses hav made a myor alert in America they are weary fresh but =
be aware!

Most of the information is alarmist and incorrect, it's just yet enough
worm, not a hugely dangerous one as it required the user to open an
exe attachment (which is, lets face it, a pretty stupid thing to do).

Generally forwarding virus warnings is not very useful, maybe
security holes (that require patching) but not just more "don't open
attachment" ones.

Let me just confirm this report. My entire hard drive has been deleted and
my PC made inoperable. Also, my ice maker is on the fritz. The virus also
somehow infected my dog, who now has no left legs (front or back), and the
tail can only wag to the right. I think it's a cruel trick on the hacker's
part. I'm thinking this virus should be called All-Righty Then virus.
Anyway, please please please make sure you don't open any more emails (after
this one, of course), because you'll never know which one is going to get
you.
