1. Jpg viewer/decompressor now available
Hello again,
For those of you that were asking for a viewer or a decompressor,
both are now available on the RDS site for download in the same
package. That is, the decompressor is part of the viewer but its
a separate file, so you can use it for whatever you wish.
The decompressor is a fairly high quality piece of software.
It can decompress any jpg that follows IJG's recommendations on
jpg file formats, as well as recover from errors and report them
too. Its not as well suited for learning the jpg file format
as the last jpg software i sent to RDS, however, because the
source isnt in Euphoria so you cant single step through the file.
One note about the viewer:
Before posting i didnt try it in Eu 2.2, and after testing it
with Eu 2.2 i found a bug in Eu 2.2's warning system which ill
post in a separate post on here.
In the mean time, you will have to insert the following line at
the very start of the file "EuViewer.exw":
without warning
This will then allow the viewer to close out normally.
