when I run the setup.bat program, and I type the login: root to do the =

DosLinux doesn't tell a password!

Strange, I've never gotten that before. Try 'root' as the password as
well.
If that fails, try entering nothing.

Again, failing that, try installing it all over again, from scratch.

If that doesn't work, try downloading the files again.

If you're still having trouble, contact me, and I'll upload the
setup.exe and zimage.bin files somewhere, so you can download them.

3. Re: DosLinux Question (starting up)

I renamed the zimage.bin to
>> zimage, but ...

A word of caution to anyone setting up doslinux for the first time. It says
move/rename this file, but do not. Copy it.
I only allowed a small space for doslinux, and went back to increase the
size, resetting up the loop, and it said that one of the files was corrupt.
Once again the backup rule seems to be fully applied.
Also, since my swap file was apparently on my c drive, doslinux said I
had 320 megs to play with, so I chose aprox 200 and it overwrote a bunch of
files. Beware of this. Make sure you have plenty of space. I had x all
configured, and also euphoria, but I wanted kde, and it is fairly large. It
exceeds the smaller size install it seems...

4. Re: DosLinux Question (starting up)

I screwed up. At the login part, I typed in "login: root" when I should've
only typed in "root."

Thanks for your help though,
