1. Doslinux and a question on kde

Hi all,
I was thinking by the way that that Caldera linux may be like the older
debian that I tried and the latest slackware...unable to work with Euphoria.
If we can compile a list of Linux's that don't work, maybe Rob can figure
out why and fix it...
Therefore enabling all of the linux users who are current to have the
benefit of Euphoria for Linux.

re.doslinux and X

I just got X windows (The latest version off of the website) working. It
installed with no problem.
I then used midnight commander to copy all of irvs demo's over to a
directory in the linux file system and typed exu pizza.exu and low and
behold...the pizza program popped up. Very Nice!

re KDE
I am wondering which distrobution everyone who uses doslinux has been
using of kde. Probably an RPM right?

Thanks for any help...

I use the latest version (1.1.1) in rpm format. I tried all the different
packages, and some, like the debian distro, installed the files into strange
directories that made it difficult to run and configure.

My CD will have X with KDE preinstalled.
I'm planning on having other window managers (GNOME, fvwm, window maker)
installed as well, but not set up to run. There will be a configuration program
included that will allow you to quickly and easily move between WM's.

Probably 4.0 - Slackware tends to run about a year behind the other
distributions, which makes it more stable, but unable to run the latest
programs.
