thanks - danke anke again to irv & juergen... the 'putsxy' program looks just up my street and the 'xfont' looks full of goodies i assume that to use 'putsxy' i simply 'include putsxy.e' at the start of my program however i am a bit more confused as to how to implement 'xfont' maybe i just run 'demo.ex' and all will be revealed... as i only have internet access when on a public library computer i dont always have time to test ideas until i get home with a floppy disk full of hopeful downloaded bits n bobs that people like you have recommended me!!! sorry if i seem a little slow... i am a relative 'newie' to euphoria bit i do love it... i have already written the bulk part of a 'planetarium' program... and i mean one where the stars & planets really look like what you see in the sky and not weird shaped squares & blobs in only three or four different sizes and in unrealisticly strong colours!!! cheerz again ... eel - aal

Don't worry! Just take your time, and enjoy Euphoria programming. And welcome to the community! I'm looking forward to see your 'planetarium' program -- assuming you are going to put it on the User Contibutions page. Regards, Juergen
