Al Getz wrote: > I keep getting unsubscribed from Topica Eu's Forum, anyone > have any idea why this is happening? Hey Al, I think Topica is technically on of the worst webservices I've come across. It constantly removes my subscription to the list and besides that it crashes it's own cookie at least onece every day (and sometimes more) so that I have to enter my details to login again and again and...... Oh, and how stupid is it that if I'm on the Euforum list and I must login that I get returned to the Topica homepage after login, instead of the Euforum list. What I actually don't understand is that a company like RDS with a community-driven product like Euphoria does not have it's own forum. The possibilities of a forum are much bigger then a mailing list and there are forums that you can read and post to through e-mail. Hans Peter Willems

I also had this problem some time ago until I set my "Login Options / Start Page" to 'save password : yes' and 'start page : my topica' then started accessing topica using topica.com instead of topica.com/my hope that helps... -- Brian Peter Willems wrote: > > > Al Getz wrote: > > > I keep getting unsubscribed from Topica Eu's Forum, anyone > > have any idea why this is happening? > > Hey Al, > > I think Topica is technically on of the worst webservices I've > come across. Not sure why it is that way really, except maybe because it's free. There's no way to edit your messages either, which is a very nice feature to have. Once it's posted it seems set in stone. Take care for now, Al

Yes, that's what I mean. When I was trying to access the forum using topica.com/my it would forget who I was and I eventually figured out a sequence of link-clicking before it remembered me without having to sign in again. Now it at least remembers me even though I still occasionally have to click 'my topica' to see the number of new posts (despite setting 'start page' to 'my topica'). Topica sucks but I still prefer the web interface over emails. -- Brian Al Getz wrote: > > > Brian Broker wrote: > > > > > > I also had this problem some time ago until I set my "Login Options / > > Start Page" to 'save password : yes' and 'start page : my topica' then > > started accessing topica using topica.com instead of topica.com/my > > > > hope that helps... > > > > -- Brian > > > > Peter Willems wrote: > > > > > > > > > Al Getz wrote: > > > > > > > I keep getting unsubscribed from Topica Eu's Forum, anyone > > > > have any idea why this is happening? > > > > > > Hey Al, > > > > > > I think Topica is technically on of the worst webservices I've > > > come across.
