Hmm.. looking at my dictionary, what "dedicated" exactly means. Anyway, we cannot discuss the German translation here. So I look into a little English thesaurus: "/dedicate/ devote to a person, use, or cause" So what is actually a 'more dedicated forum'? > Besides, Topica is acting up badly lately. There can be, of course. I just don't know, whether it's a good idea. I see. I've almost forgotten about the forum, because I only read and write messages by mail (except when Topica has technical problems with delivering the mail). It's also my opinion, that threaded forums are a lot easier to use. But I prefer not to use any web interface at all. > Of course, there are also Blogs :) - though some of them are rarely > visited ;) What are "Blogs", please? I've searched several dictionaries (those printed on paper, and those on the internet), but didn't find any explanation. > BTW, there is very little actually happening here apart from 'dissing' > or 'defending' Euphoria - At the moment, yes. But I think, this can change quickly. > what happened to hints and tips, useful code > examples, problem solving? If someone posts a problem, I believe s/he'll get help soon, as I always experienced, since I've joined the list. > These are MY opinions and are not meant to be the start of any sort of > Flame War/Moan/Complaint or whatever. I also don't want anything else than expressing my opinion. And I'm actually somewhat concerned about potential splitting of the community. > Each of us is an individual and has their own ideas - good and bad. Not > everyone will agree with them - who cares! This Topica Forum seems to be very similar - sometimes ;) Those Romans had the saying "Divide et impera!". They did that with their enemies. We shouldn't do that with ourself. > Lets just get on with helping each other out and trying to fill the gaps > that we all agree (to whatever level) are there in Libraries, etc. > > Peace and Goddwill to all. > > > PS.
