I think I've made an assumption that all printers work at the same
resolution as mine, probably not very likely(!) Of course I know that
A4 is always 210 by 297mm, I was just trying to get that info
generically to support whatever paper someone selected.

can you change the definition of PRINTDLG_hDevMode to:
PRINTDLG_hDevMode =3D allot( Hndl ),
PRINTDLG_pDevMode =3D allotted_handle(PRINTDLG_hDevMode),
