I'm using Meditor and the folowing message appears often...sequence found inside character string. Your appears at the printf() statement. printf(1,"%s", data2[i]) And it is know wonder. data2 = {"Jack",6,{{"Bob",1},{"Walter",2},{"Paul",3},{"Albert",4},{"Chris",5}}} You have bad embedding. I still haven't figured out what you are trying to do. But. data2 = data1 & fname is better than your data2 = append(data1, fname) Somehow it still seems wrong. Lucius L.
