1. Unzipping Win32Lib

Hi,
I'm brand new to Euphoria, so hopefully this isn't covered somewhere else.

I downloaded Win32Lib to my XP machine, but when I try to unzip it I get asked
for a password on file "advanc". Is there a zip file problem, or can someone
give me the password?

Thanks,
Greg

There shouldn't be a password. Try downloading it again. Maybe the ZIP file
got corrupted in the transfer.

I've tried it 4 times, and a friend tried it as well. Same results.

I just downloaded it from this URL:

    http://www.rapideuphoria.com/win32lib_0_70_1.zip

and unzipped it successfully.

Is that where you got it from?

Yes. I even clicked your link to download the file, to be sure. Same problem.

I hate to say "works for me", but it does, using the link above and WinZIP 8.0
on Windows 2000.

Which unzip are you using? I'll check and see if it works with XP's built-in
unzip...

Yeah, I got that to work as well on Windows XP with the built-in compressed
folder handler.

I am using Windows XP's built-in unzipper.
A friend emailed me a version that unzipped, so I'll go with that.
Thanks.

I had the same trouble. I tried unzipping with WinZip and it was fine.
It seems to be a problem with Win XP's own unzipping algorithm.
You can get WinZip easily enough...

10. Re: Unzipping Win32Lib

I had the same problem with the file on XP. Web searching for win32lib_0_70_1,
found http://www.users.bigpond.com/ddparnell/euphoria/euphoria.htm, unzipped ok
with XPs uncompress. After setting up EUINC, demos ran ok.

That file on Vista laptop wouldn't uncompress, ran CAM unzip - ok; as
above,demos run.

Wado.
