Hi, I'm brand new to Euphoria, so hopefully this isn't covered somewhere else. I downloaded Win32Lib to my XP machine, but when I try to unzip it I get asked for a password on file "advanc". Is there a zip file problem, or can someone give me the password? Thanks, Greg

I've tried it 4 times, and a friend tried it as well. Same results.

I just downloaded it from this URL: http://www.rapideuphoria.com/win32lib_0_70_1.zip and unzipped it successfully. Is that where you got it from?

Yes. I even clicked your link to download the file, to be sure. Same problem.

I'll check and see if it works with XP's built-in unzip... Yeah, I got that to work as well on Windows XP with the built-in compressed folder handler. -- A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that works. --John Gall's 15th law of Systemantics. I tried unzipping with WinZip and it was fine. It seems to be a problem with Win XP's own unzipping algorithm. You can get WinZip easily enough... AndyD

I had the same problem with the file on XP. Web searching for win32lib_0_70_1, found http://www.users.bigpond.com/ddparnell/euphoria/euphoria.htm, unzipped ok with XPs uncompress. After setting up EUINC, demos ran ok. That file on Vista laptop wouldn't uncompress, ran CAM unzip - ok; as above, demos run. Wado. huti
