Ext2 I do not believe is journaled. Also alot of people user ReiserFs or XFS. Irv wrote EuGtk which handles windows and all of your controls. Its a wrapper for GTK which is a C gui library. It does (as far as I can tell) all the same stuff as win32lib though a bit differently, (differently, but still simply) Enjoy Linux! - steve
