Hey-ho, Hard disk has been wiped twice and windows re-installed 4 times since my last post (trim()); which had the same before I could post that. Looks like I have kicked this old dog just about as far as it will ever go... As someone once famously said, "I may be gone some time". Given that I will likely never have anything better to do, I'll keep on wiping that disk and re-installing, and maybe get through once in a while, but if you get no reply, it is not personal. I really wish I could post a final version of Edita, but I doubt I'll ever be able to. Someone look after it for me, will ya, In case you never hear from me again, been a blast, Cheers, Pete PS Part of me hopes that when my pc reads I have finally managed to send this it will start working again just to spite me...

Seriously something like that happend to me a while back I lost my complete Win2k OS twice. I took a while but I overcame it. So will you. It just takes time. Don Cole

Hard drives are getting cheaper. I've seen 200 GB Samsung PATA drives go for $89.99. That's a damn good price. 40 GB drives can be had for less than $34.99 at some places. Go pick one up, wipe it and use it. Remember, data is never lost, only overwritten. :) ~Greg

If not, if the comp is that old it's cheap to replace. Or, new MB perhaps, or used one? Take care, Al And, good luck with your Euphoria programming! Hi again Pete, Just to add to my last reply... Dont let a computer get you down too much...find another one... even if it's used. Wipe the drive clean and install your own system. How else are you going to continue to program in Euphoria? Take care, Al And, good luck with your Euphoria programming! Sorry Pete, you don't have my permission to leave the Eu community. Clever dolphins are needed here ... Regards, Juergen
