I'm with Al on this. Pete, Everytime I check my E-mail I have to go thru 2 or 3 hundred spam messages to find what I'm looking for. I've just about given up on E-Mail as being a viable communication instrument. I find this forum easier to use for our limited discussions. Now if I were try to sell erectile dysfunction meds then I would use E-Mail. However I will stop talking about the DSS on the forum and get back to discussing Edita. Jason, Thank you for your response on OR bits. Of which I don't quite understand. OR Gates I get. Either IN high = OUTPUT high. Let me study you response somemore. Al, I'm sorry but I can't discuss this anymore. Don Cole

Since DSS is in the archives it's available to many Eu users, so i believe it's a worthwhile subject. Since you already know how OR gates work, imagine having one OR gate for each BIT of an integer value. When you OR two integers you OR each bit individually (as with an OR gate for each bit). The resulting outputs, taken collectively, form the new integer which is the 'logical OR' of the two input integers. Take care, Al And, good luck with your Euphoria programming!
