I don't understand what is happening here. I have a simple demo program that runs ok through the interpreter than when I use use e2c with DJCPP and make an exe when I launch that it simply freeze doing nothing. It's not even a crash I used 2 external library ssl and ecstacy. It freeze even with SB library, but if I remeber right I were previously able to have it working with SB than one day I used e2c without having some path on my autoexec and I dunno how I was able to compile it but it worked however that was the first time that I saw that freezing. From that day despite two complete reinstallation of euphoria and DJCPP I always have the aforementioned result. It seems that I cannot run correctly programs that try to access my sounblaster when translated to c. Out of curiosity I tried to compile one of the demo programs in SB(wavdemo.ex). Even that freeze!

I just tried Jiri Babor's aliens game, and it worked perfectly with ec -wat, but with ec -djg the sound worked fine, but the mouse interrupts weren't handled, something I was aware of a long time ago. (I could use the keyboard to play instead.) I should document the mouse issue with DJGPP, if I haven't already. Regards, Rob Craig Rapid Deployment Software http://www.RapidEuphoria.com

Because watcom is 50 MB while instead DJCPP is only ten.
