After a long time, I've finally got a playable version of my Space Race =
game. It's available on my home page, and I'm asking Rob to include a =
link on the User Contributions page. While there's no action yet, it =
does present a pretty interesting mind puzzle (like finding a needle in =
a haystack!?). Please try it and let me know what you think.

I just tried your game and it won't run because it quits with an error:
font load error: austin36.f not found!
then right under that (in a different font) it says: loading graphics.
one moment please...
what's wrong? the font is there, I found it. and it looks spelled right.
I also looked at your star and planet bmp files. They're not exactly
realistic (no offense intended) is there a reason? (like using only
certain colors). still I think I could improve them if you didn't mind.
I'd send you the modified versions back through email.
anyway... I'd really like to play your game.

I think I had the same thing happen. I had set the game pif in win95 to
load the vesa driver and the dos mouse driver, and then that happened. I
fixed it by specifying a working directory in the pif setup...

It looks like a neat game, I am not sure about a few things, but it
definately has potential...

yeah, I got it working in dos so don't worry about it.
I didn't realize it was a strategy game. I definitely want to see it
completed!
