C++ and Pascal for Windows also cause headaches for the same reason: the programmer has to cater to the whims of Windoz, writing hundreds of lines of code just to say "Hello World". If you want less pain and more progress, you have to spend some real money and get Delphi or Visual C++. Delphi is like Liberty in that it "writes" your code for you. It's different in that it is suitable for writing real applications. Ones you can trade for dollahs. Once Euphoria grows to the point where it comes on 30 disks, it will probably be as easy to use as Delphi, maybe easier.
