Judging from the way Rob says Euphoria works, writing a compiler would actually be pretty easy for someone who has the source code. Built-in routines such as append(), find(), and all the rest wouldn't run any faster, just manipulation of variables and sequences. (Probably about 2-5x faster than they already are, depending on how good the optimizer was). Regards, Michael Bolin
