There is a real need for a stable, familiar user interface for Euphoria -- It might as well be graphical, since most everybody is accustomed to GUIs' by now, and won't accept anything less. (Remember, we might actually SELL a Euphoria program some day!) I think a GUI should take priority over possible ports to Un*x or Mac. The problem is, unfortunately, that programming with the Win API is just TOO MUCH TROUBLE, whether you are writing in C++, Pascal, or whatever. Wrappers (like Borland's OWL) help, but don't really ease the pain very much. This may be crazy, but... Win 98 is basically a UI based on web browser technology, including file management functions, etc. accomplished by creating web pages on the fly (if you set it up to operate that way). What are the possiblities of making a 2-way HTML interface to the Euphoria engine? (OK, I know it wouldn't work for games.) Irv
