I think I'll be able to di it using ftp.exe but i'd like to be able to send my users to a web page where I can post public info(newspapers concerning the game's world, etc) I thought this might not be difficult; when I simply enter http://members.aol.com/FilesEu/ into the windows run window, it loads up my default browser to that page, and the same goes with mailto:whomever at wherever.com for email. but when I tried this with system(address,0), i got "bad command or file name". So, it's going to the dos command interpreter, though I'm using exw. I'm just learning exw, and the windows thing seems a bit confusing; am I missing something? how do I send commands to the *windows* command interpreter? If this isn't possible, is there a way to detect the default browser, so I can send it an argument? or will I have to make my users manually configure this? TIA, isaac PS I just made TIA(thanks in advance) up; I don't know if it's a confirmed acronym or not, but I think it would be usefull enough to justify becoming one
